We’ve been working hard and are glad to be able to share some updates with you. First, we’ve added the SD grade to our website with a ton of models offered by a variety of vendors. We’ll be adding a lot more vendors for the different kits as soon as possible. Additionally, we’ve added data on whether a product is in stock or out of stock at a particular vendor. This was a feature that was requested in a post we did on Reddit, so hopefully this proves to be useful! Lastly, we added a shipping costs page that provides an overview of the expected shipping costs per vendor.

We’ve got some good news for fans of the pinnacle line of Gunpla kits: the rare Perfect Grade. In fact, we’ve added tons of offerings sourced from more than 20 USA vendors. As a bonus, we’ve also added a new edition of our deep dive into Gunpla pricing with this one being focused on the – surprise! – PG line. We’ve been working really hard behind the scenes to expand the number of Master Grade offerings that we cover on our website. In fact, we now track over 1800 offerings spanning a total of 154 MG model kits. We’ve also used this data to write the third edition of our price analysis blog series, which you can check out here.

New year, new launch. As stated in a prior update we decided to transition to the US market. It has taken a while to create a list of US Gunpla vendors, write new code, and gather further product data – but here we go. When I started this website and initially started working on the code, it made sense to start with Gunpla stores that serve customers in the Benelux area as well as other European countries. However, the truth of the matter is that barely any visitors are from this area or even the EU. In fact, over 2/3rd of visitors are from the US, with the remainder of the visitors being located in Asian countries. As such, we are focusing on collecting Gunpla pricing data from US Gunpla stores and rebrand our website from there. By improving product-market fit, we hope to create a more sustainable website for the long term. Hopefully, this will also allow us to return to the Benelux and other European countries in the future – as we are certainly not forgetting about the Gunpla enthusiasts there.

We just started tracking over 20 Perfect Grade models. We also noticed that some highly popular Witch from Mercury model kits are not included in our tracking yet, but rest assured that they will be added soon. Stay tuned!

Various bug fixes. Also added a new ‘Articles’ page along with a first blog. Additionally, we wrote a new review for the RG Wing Custom EW kit. We are still looking at the inclusion of vendors from the USA, but unfortunately it may be necessary to setup a second website specifically for that market due to various reasons. If you have any suggestions for other countries or markets, feel free to reach out!

We have released a major update today, adding over a 120 new Gunpla models. Most of these are Master Grade, but some Real Grade and High Grade models are also included. We are also looking at the inclusion of vendors that sell in the USA, as we have noticed that many of our visitors are from there. Stay tuned for more.

We are happy to announce that we finally fixed the issue related to the wrong price being shown as the cheapest price. Even though the button did redirect visitors to the vendor with the cheapest price, this is obviously confusing. Also, we naturally view correct pricing information as essential to our website. We’d like to thank you all for your patience.

We have noticed a few bugs that we are still trying to fix. For example, although the ‘get this model kit now’ and the best deal button are working correctly, sometimes it still shows a higher price tag from another vendor.

We have included two new vendors in our price comparisons (Geeks Heaven and Nedgame). In addition, we have added some new products to our catalog and have increased the number of offers for existing products. As for the near future, we aim to further expand the number of vendors of which we include we prices. These to be added vendors include Dutch firms, as well as firms from surrounding countries that ship to the Netherlands, such as Belgium, Germany, and Spain.

During the last couple of days, we have been busy improving the website. We have upload the first product images to help you gain a quick impression of model kits while browsing. Additionally, we have been tweaking the site visually and functionally. For example, some product pages showed a maximum of 4 different vendors. This limitation has now been removed.

GunplaPrices.com is now officially live! As of now, the website has a few limitations. It does not contain any SD grade models, it has some known bugs that are yet to be worked out, and it only features vendors that ship to the Netherlands and its surrounding countries, such as Belgium and Germany. Nonetheless, we thought it was important to go live as soon as possible. This allows us to receive feedback from other Gunpla enthusiasts.
